সুরভিত ফুল,

অচিরেই ঝরে,

কলুষিত মূল বহুদিন পরে।

বাসা আছে পড়ে,

পাখি গেছে উড়ে,

স্মৃতি কিছু কিছু হিম্মৎ গড়ে।

দিনে দিনে আবার,

উঠিবে জোয়ার,

ন্যায়ের ঢেউ হবে পর্বত পাহাড়।

যুগে যুগে আসি,

আমি না-হয় তুমি,

যেতে যেতে শেষে ইতিহাস গড়ি।

​Fragrant flowers,

Wither and fall,

While tainted roots outlast them all.

​The nest remains,

The bird has flown,

Yet memories build a courage of our own.

​Day by day,

The tide shall rise,

Justice like waves, touching mountain skies.

​Through the ages,

If not I, then you,

In our passing, history we construe.
